Hello Giants fans,
The Giants have a must win game this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. There is no other way to look at it. The Falcons have some dangerous weapons on offense and have been struggling as of late to win games. This will be a good match up between two struggling teams but I think the G-Men will pull out the win. They have a lot of players coming back from injury and they realize their season is in jeopardy. I am guessing the Giants will win by ten points on Sunday. They need to win 5 of the last 7 games to stay in the playoff race in my opinion.
Final Score Prediction:
Giants - 27
Falcons - 17
Predict the Giants/Chargers score
Hello Giants fans,
It has been a rough 3 weeks for us and we now find ourselves in 3rd place in the NFC East. The injuries have finally caught up with us and it seems like we will fighting hard battles until we are healthy. Still 5-3 isn't a bad record and with each and every week comes a new opportunity to turn it all around. We need the defensive backs to step and have a great game. Special teams needs to improve as well.
I have been away for a while but I am now back and I look forward to hearing all of your opinions. Lets start with the matchup this week against the Chargers. What will be the keys to victory and what do you predict the final score to be. I think it will be a high scoring game but I believe the Giants can win. They must dig down deep for it but they can do it.
Final score prediction.
Giants - 35
Chargers - 31

Hello everyone, this is another simple post. Give us your predictions for the final score of the New York Giants vs. Chicago Bears game this Saturday night in Chicago. Game starts at 8 PM EST. Jay Cutler will get a real test for the short period of time he is on the game. I expect the Giants defense to dominate once again. The offense will produce as well.

NYG24/7 - 00012 - The P/K's
Mr. Old Leatherhead, Jeff Feagles returns to the G-men as the teams Punter. Old Leatherhead comes from, Jeff Feagles & John Carney, deciding to walk around the Pro Bowl last year wearing the old school leather football helmets. The all time best NFL punter for drops inside the 20-yard line will be back. Something that puts a lot of fans at ease. Seeing John Carney leave the team was hard though. He was accurate with his field goals last year but the rub on Carney was, his kickoffs weren't very good. Lawrence Tynes returns this year after a injury filled season, to take over the kicking duties. Tynes will have a lot to prove this year and his consistency will be scrutinized all season.

NYG24/7-00011 - The DB's
The New York Giants defensive backs are a very exciting group for Big Blue. There are some young talented players at both the cornerback and safety positions. Aaron Ross has become an excellent CB since he was drafted. I look for him to add to the success he has already achieved. Corey Webster will be holding down the other side and Terrell Thomas will be one year smarter. With new rookies Stoney Woodson & DeAndre Wright being added to the team not to mention, Kevin Dockery fighting for a starting positon. the Giants CB's appear to be in good shape. The safety position will be manned by Kenny Phillips & Michael Johnson. Two talented players expected to blossom this year. C.C. Brown as added via free agency to bolster this group as well. Because of the strength of the Defensive line, I look for the Giants DB's to have an INT Feast this year.

NYG24/7-00010 - The LB's
There were some questions concerning the Giants Linebacker Corps prior to the off season. The Giants addressed those questions by getting Michael Boley from free agency and Clint Sintim via the NFL Draft. Sintim could quickly develop into a pro bowl LB. Antonio Pierce will man the middle as usual and Boley will start at OLB, the questions come into play about the other side. You have Clint Sintim, Gerris Wilkenson, Chase Blackburn, Bryan Kehl, Zak DeOssie, Danny Clark all fighting for a starting position during camp. Should be a good fight and with the D-Line so deep, the LB's & DB's should benefit from their dominance.

NYG24/7-00009 - The DL
This is the deepest area for the New York Giants. Possibly the best Defensive line in the NFL. Eight men fully capable of splitting into 2 groups of 4 and becoming a starting defensive line anywhere in the NFL. The (good) problem the coaches have is, who the heck do you start? Read and weep the depth of this ferocious defense. Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora, Fred Robbins, Barry Cofield, Jay Alford, Mathias Kiwanuka, Chris Canty, Rocky Bernard. This rotation should remain fresh throughout the playoffs or somethings wrong. Barring any injuries, this Defense should rank in the top 3 for the NFL, also leading in sacks. Opposing offenses, especially in the NFC East, should keep their heads on a swivel or they just might lose it.

NYG24/7-00008 - The OL
The Giants have one of the best offensive lines in football, something that has been a true blessing for Eli Manning's progression. Chriss Snee is a well deserved pro bowler and David Diehl has done an outstanding job. Rich Seubert (great guy) is holding strong and Kareem McKenzie has been solid as well. Shaun O'Hara is holding down the Center position and we have some guys waiting in the wings to rotate in. Most Notably, Adam Koets, Guy Whimper & William Beatty who the Giants drafted this year. Expect the Giants to draft a Center in next years draft for depth as possible starter down the road. They have rookie C Alex Derenthal on the roster as of today. Solid group of focused men here and I expect another great year from them.

NYG24/7-00007 - The QB's
I'm pretty sure that Iron Man Eli Manning will be the starting QB for the Giants this year, call it a hunch. So lets go to the backups. David Carr appears to be the #2 QB behind Manning. Andre Woodson has been a project and he might be on his way out of New York, since the Giants drafted Rhett Bomar in this years NFL Draft. That was the most surprising pick of the draft but apparently the coaches are high on him. Tom Coughlin has had the luxury of Eli never missing a game for him, giving him official Iron Man status on the NFL list of active streaks. There should be some good competition from this group for the backup spot and something worth keeping an eye on.

NYG24/7-00006 - The TE's
The 2009 NFL Season should be an interesting one for the Giants TE group. After the Giants addressed the TE area in both, free agency and the NFL Draft, I look for them to become much more involved this year. Kevin Boss has been coming along very nicely and compared to Shockeys numbers last year, I would have taken Boss. Drafting Travis Beckum, who could be deadly in the short game for Big Blue, was a smart move and the coaching staff seem to be happy with him so far. Lee Vickers, the free agent pick up, should add some competition and offer good blocking. Keep an eye out for much more production from this group, as the Giants look to add a new dimension this year to the offensive attack.

NYG24/7-00005 - The RB's
The New York Giants had the best running game in the NFL last year. Brandon Jacobs aka The Bull, will be the number one RB, with Ahmad Bradshaw taking over the number two RB duties for the departed Derrick Ward. Danny Ware has been talked about by the coaches as a very good RB and drafting Andre Brown in this years NFL draft, will only bolster one of the stronger areas for the G-men. I expect plenty of production from this group of guys. The Giants should once again have a top running game in the NFL for the 2009 season.
I have to mention FB Madison Hedgecock here as well. Getting this man was a steal for Big Blue and only adds to the bruising style the Giants have. Defenses need to plan on a wave of Sherman Tanks coming at them the whole game then BAM! Bradshaw slices for 20 yards a clip. Should be an exciting year for Giants fans.
